On Sunday, April 14, 2019, Sarkodie who is the CEO of Sarkcess Music announced via social media that his label’s two-year contract with Strongman had ended.
Sarkodie described Strongman as a ‘gem of his kind’ as he wished him well in his future endeavours.
Kwaw Kese, reacting to Strongman’s departure from Sarkcess Music called on Ghanaians to appreciate an artist trying to push another artist.
According to him,it is never an easy task and those who took the bold decision to help other artistes should be praised and not criticized.
He took to his Twitter handle to list some artists in Ghana supporting other artists and asked Ghanaians to appreciate such acts.
He wrote: “Managing artist as an artist in Ghana is never easy, please let’s appreciate any artist trying to push/put [sic] another artist on. It’s hard for an artist in Gh to even put themselves on, likewise pushing another”
