Stop Selling Waakye in Jar You Spoiling the Taste and The Brand -Too Much Descend On East Legon Sellers
Takoradi-based Actor, Ibrahim Awudu better known as Too much has expressed his dissatisfaction about recent Waakye vendors who Pack the food in bottled jars.
Waakye is undoubtedly the most famous and well-patronised delicacy enjoyed by people from all walks of life.
In a video shared on Twitter, the actor who was probably aiming the warning at sellers in East Legon who started selling Waakye in jars, noted that the food tastes great when it’s sold in a dirty environment.
He also said the traditional way of serving the meal in leaves with its customary accompaniment like wele, gari and macaroni should be maintained and not the variation some people have introduced.
