Ghanaian rapper, Guru has thrown a subtle jab at dancehall artiste Shatta Wale for refusing to congratulate Sarkodie after he picked up the ‘Best International Flow’ award at the just ended BET Hip-hop Awards.
After Sarkodie was announced as the winner of the Best International Flow at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards, celebrities, fellow musicians, friends, family and fans of the prolific rapper in their excitement took to twitter to congratulate the VGMA ‘Artiste of the Decade’.
Many were waiting for his old friend, Shatta Wale to at least reciprocate the love Sarkodie showed him when he got featured on Beyonce’s ‘Lion King’ album and congratulate him but that has never happened.
Meanwhile in a subtle jab, NKZ Boss, Guru, has wondered why he (Shatta Wale) should hate on a brother rather than congratulate him on a BET Hip-hop Awards win.
He tweeted; “Your brother go win BET hip-hop award instead of supporting you are hating.. Berma”.
