Nickelodeon and BET awardee who performs under the stage name Stonebwoy, has thrown his weight behind the Nigerian youths who are calling for an end to police brutality in the country.
The Afro-dancehall genre creator also noted that the main reason why he has joined the movement is that his deformity can be attributed to the reckless actions of some police officers.
As recounted by the celebrated musician ‘it was a police Jeep that ran into them and cost him his knee’ several years ago.
Stonebwoy made this revelation through a tweet he shared and further disclosed that he has been walking by the aid of an implant since aged 14.
