Iconic raggae/ dancehall musician Stonebwoy has been invited by the East Legon police for allegedly threatening the life of estate developer identied as Derrick Appiah.
The police invitation follows a report made by the victim some time ago.
Not too long ago, the businessman shockingly alleged that the BHIM Nation president has told him to do a punishable crime at the expense of his freedom during a business transaction.
In an interview granted to the well-known blogger Attractive Mustapha, Mr. Appiah said the threat comes on the back of transacting business with Dr. Louisa, the wife of Stonebwoy instead of him directly.
Stating his reason for not dealing with Stonebwoy, he said previously the ‘Higher’ singer had breached mutual business terms of percentage payment due him.
“As part of the agreement, Stonebwoy was supposed to pay me 5% out of $440,000 as a commission but he refused to fulfill his part of the agreement by first reducing the agent fee from 5% to 2% which is $8,800,” he told Attractive Mustapha.
“Instead of giving me the 2% $8800, he gave me $500 so I returned the money to him and asked him to pay my money in full because it was supposed to be 5% but for peace’s sake, I reluctantly agreed to take the 2%.”
“Again, Stonebwoy decided to give me $500 instead of the 2% exactly and told me that if I don’t take the $500 he won’t give me any additional money.”
Because of the aforesaid, he made up his mind not to do business transactions with the artiste directly.
“So, I replied that when they contacted me to search for a house for them to buy, I was initially dealing with his wife and not him, he then angrily told me that if I mention his wife’s name again it will be grave and prison.”
It is on the above reason that he logged a formal complaints to the East Legon Police but no positive feedback was heard.
In the latest report Stonebwoy has been invited but his Lawyers represented because he is out of the country.
The complainant, Mr. Derrick was also arrested and granted bail afterwards. Meanwhile the blogger, Attractive Mustapha, whom the complainant granted the interview couldn’t not be reached out to by the police as he embarks on assignment abroad.
According to the Estate Developer he rented an apartment to the Artist and subsequently sold the mansion in which Stonebwoy resides currently in 2019.
Derrick however admitted dealing with celebrities is lucrative despite the difficulties it comes with as he has made a lot of fortunes out it.
