According to Stonebwoy, formerly, artistes feared to charge event promoters thier worth for fear of being side-lined in the subsequent years, but Shatta Wale’s vociferous and outspoken nature has made Ghanaian musicians know their worth and price.
He said;
First we all dey fear to charge our price, anything event promoters take give us…we dey accept am like that… but because of Shatta Wale, we are now able to charge well well…
Stonebwoy further went on to thank Shatta Wale for obliquely being the mouth-piece for Ghanaian acts both mainstream and the promising ones.
