South Africa wins the 2022 WAFCON Championship.

It was a magical night for South Africa (Banyana Banyana) to win the Championship title for the first time in history.

South Africa defeated Morocco to win the 2022 WAFCON in the final match.

The competition was hosted in Morocco, Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.

The Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, also called the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations abbreviated to WAFCON.

It is an international women’s football competition held every two years and sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Morocco defeated the former champion Nigeria with a penalty shootout in the semi-finals whilst

South Africa also defeated Zambia in the semi-finals.

The match ended null by both teams in the 1st half while the 2nd half South Africa scored two goals by H.Magaia and the Morocco scored a goal by R. Ayane.

The match ended in 2-1 goal against Morocco
