The Ghanaian dancehall sensation, who doubles as a designer, Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, better known as Epixode in a recent collaboration with Agyei Frimpong on Onua FM’s Anigye Mmere show, has lamented how Shatta Wale has not given him credit for the work he has done for him all this while.
According to Epixode, he designed the SM For Life logo, but he is not getting credit for it as he heard it was designed by someone abroad.
He said:
I’m happy to have created the Shatta movement logo. You just heard it. It’s true. Take a look at the products that have been produced from it. He is my godfather, so I didn’t steal anything from him. Have you heard him talk about it before? No.
I’ve heard him claim that the logo was created in London several times. I completed everything in the interim.
As a result, I’ll consider it carefully before making an effort to develop anything for someone else. I would rather focus all of my efforts on myself.
