Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has called on the president of the Republic of Ghana His excellency John Dramani Mahama to exercise patience with the way the cedi keeps gaining strength.
Kuami Eugene who took to his social media handle to make this revelation revealed that he is loosing value for his dollars saved due to the appreciation of the cedi.
He further called on the president to “slow down” on the way he keeps making structural reforms that keeps strengthening the cedi against the dollar.
Kuami Eugene’s plea adds up to the numerous calls by many netizens who also feels the rate of the cedi would also affect the export sector and eventually bring it down.
