Sister Derby blasts man who told her she won’t get married if she is not submissive (screenshot)
Ghanaians on social media have started gathering under Deborah Vanessa, aka Sister Derby’s posts on social media to console her, troll her, and advise her.
This comes after Medikal, Derby’s ex-boyfriend, tied the knot at a traditional wedding ceremony with Fella Makafui.
The news is everywhere, but Derby seems unconcerned, and a fan who appeared to be seeking Derby’s welfare just got into trouble for giving her the good advice at the wrong time.
Derby shared a photo of herself on Instagram announcing the release of her much anticipated Mermaid EP.
There and then a fan, out of nowhere but identified as Nana Ekow Simons advised Sister Derby to humble herself and be submissive. In Ekow’s opinion, men love women who are submissive and behave like real women regardless of their wealth or background.
He wrote; “Men want women with character women that no matter their money they are still women( submissiveness is the key) “
However, this comment did not go down with 152 others and Sister Derby who replied Ekow, saying, “@nanaekowsimons see this fool “
