Sisi Yemmie, a Nigerian Vlogger, has made an appeal to parents to give equal empowerment opportunities to their children and not focusing on just one gender.
According to her, most parents like to invest in their male children leaving the female ones to their fate.
The Vlogger whose real name is Yemisi Odusanya gave this free advice in a tweet she shared encouraging parents that their investments in a their female children will not go waste.
”Give your children equal opportunities: male or female. Some parents invest so much in sons to the deteriment of their daughters. I’ve never seen an empowered woman whose family did not reap benefits.” She Tweeted.
