“Don’t use my picture for campaign” – Shatta Wale warns NPP& NDC ahead of 2020 Elections

After milking both the NPP and NDC in the 2016 elections, “Mahama Paper” hit maker, Shatta Wale has sent a word of caution to political parties in Ghana ahead of the 2020 elections.

Ghana’s most celebrated dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known by his stage name, Shatta Wale, has taken to social media to warn political parties to desist from using him in any of their campaigns or on any of their platforms.

The “Ayoo” hit singer in a social media post sighted by Gossips24.com said political parties should not use his brand or his picture in any of their campaigns.

This message from Shatta Wale comes exactly four months to the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections in Ghana.

Per Shatta’s post, political parties who wish to use his brand, picture, or any artistic material of his must contact his management before they will be allowed to do so.

His post reads; “NOTICE: Moving forward ..no one should use my picture or my brand on any political campaign or platforms . Myself and my loyal fans will support and coperate with any person who Ghanaians elect as their president..Anyone who wishes to seek any further clarifications/explanations should contact my office (The secretariat) on 054 466 2230
