One time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ‘Artiste of the Year’ Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known for his music stage name as Shatta Wale has reacted to the proposed Nigerian name given to him by Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh.
Few days ago, after Shatta Wale revealed that he has now obtained a Nigerian passport and claimed he is no more a Ghanaian, the controversial Nollywood star Tonto Dikeh named Shatta Wale ‘Ikechukwu Wale’ since he need a native name to prove he is of Nigerian breed.
72hrs after Tonto Dikeh named Shatta Wale, the self-acclaimed Dancehall King in Africa has replied the mother of one in want appears to be an acceptance of the new name.
Sighted on Shatta Wale’s Twitter handle, Shatta Wale hinted that he has adopted the name in good faith.
In Shatta Wale’s latest post, he has responded to Tonto Dikeh.
He wrote, ‘Somebody shd please tell @TONTOLET I have taken that name for life so from now on my name na “Shatta Ikechukwu wale “ Real naija blood
