Shatta Wale Also Had A Gun On Him; We Have Seized It – Police

A police source has confirmed to Daily Guide Newspaper that Shatta Wale indeed had a gun on him when Stonebowy pulled his gun at the VGMA 2019 fracas.

According to the police, Shatta Wale was also strapped but he had the temperament not to remove and brandish it around as Stonebwoy did.

The police further revealed Stonebwoy in caution statement revealed he has a license for the gun
but the police have seized both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s gun and revoked Stonebwoy’s license.

After being granted bail on Monday, the police have charged the two artists with three counts: offensive conduct, acts tending to disturb public peace and unlawful display of firearms in a public place.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s management has released a statement on the event which to place at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Management claim Shatta Wale only sought to replicate what happened at the 4syte Music Video Awards in 2015 when Shatta Wale surprised Stonebwoy on stage.

They laid the blame on Stonebwoy’s manager, Blakk Cedi for causing all the confusion when he threw the first blow at Shatta Wale’s entourage.
