Celebrated Ghanaian female broadcaster, Serwaa Amihere, has adopted her Twitter timeline to shower deep praises on the former Education Minister, Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh for his unmatched legacy in Ghana’s educational sector during his tenure in office as the head of Ministry of Education.
Mr Opoku Prempeh popularly known as Napo served under Akufo Addo’s first administration as the minister of Education but has been chided off that position and been handed a new sector to take charge off in the course of Nana Addo’s second term.
During his service at the Education Ministry, the popular free Senior High School was introduced hence the motive behind Serwaa Amihere’s praises.
In the just-released ministerial list which was dropped by the ministry of information yesterday.
The former Deputy Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has now been appointed as the new Minister-designate for the education sector.
Whiles Napo has however been moved to the Energy Ministry. His move has raised eyebrows with string concerns that he abysmally performed during the last 4 years.
Amidst this controversy, Serwaa Amihere believes otherwise & thus applauding NAP on the micro-blogging platform.
