Serwaa Amihere becomes an ambassador for a betting company after condemning bet
Popular Tv presenter, Serwaa Amihere has been slammed by tweeps after she endorsed a new betting company in a tweet following her unveiling as one of the new ambassadors of the betting firm.
In the year 2019, Serwaa Amihere took to twitter to ask a question as she wanted to point out how the act of betting was spoiling the youth of Ghana.
She tweeted; “Let’s talk about betting among the youth; is it becoming a national crisis? #GHToday“
She came under heavy criticism for trying to be a hypocrite after literally describing the act as one that is making the youth of today lazy.
However, months after Serwaa’s statement she has joined a tall list of betting ambassadors who were unveiled yesterday and she has already commenced work.
The tv presenter took to both Twitter and Instagram to advertise the same act she labeled a ‘national crisis‘ all because of money. Serwaa’s post on social media which advises the youth to engage in betting is obviously for the fact that she’s been paid to do so, and this validates the popular statement. “Money stops nonsense“.
