The surprising break-up of Highlife music duo, Wutah for the second time has caused TV personality, Babiee Dapaah, who also doubles as the manager of Guru, the owner of the NKZ Music record label, the label which recently had the fantastic musicians signed, to give some intricate details about some factors that might have caused it.
Speaking on the ‘Uncut’ show, Babiee stated that it is not something that people should have a difficult time accepting because they are humans and as such, they are bound to have their problems which is what caused their recent break-up. She mentioned groups like Double, VIP, 4X4 and a few others as examples of groups which have had similar issues in times past.
Babie further revealed that the two had several misundstandings which she believes caused trhem to go their seperate ways again.
On the suggestions that the label failed to keep the group together as they should have done, Babiee stated that it would be a wrong conclusion to make. She added that before Kobby and Afriyie were signed onto the NKZ music record label, they both agreed to settle their differences as a group and come on board and as such, they could have done nothing about it if they have a fallout of a sort now.
Until their untimely break-up recently, Wutah as a group was doing great under their new label, NKZ music. Their smash hit song, ‘Bronya’ which was released under the label won them an award at the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
