It’s obvious the reunion between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was something Ghanaians have been waiting for. Although the reunion was feasible in the future, however, no one knows expected it to be sooner.
For some reasons not excluding the fracas that ensued at the grounds of the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), the reunion was fully made possible on June 4, 2019. Fast forward, majority of industry players have added their voice to the peace pipe the Dancehall giants have smoked.
At a press conference held yesterday, the two artistes urged their fans to unite to champion the unity course they have started but it seems these school children are the ones who have expressed their joy most taking into consideration a footage available to us.
In a video sighted online, these anonymous school children who barely know Shatta Wale or Stonebwoy are just excited about the unity of the two dancehall greats and it’s so lovely and good for Ghana music going forward.
Therefore, it’s the fervent hope of patriotic music enthusiasts that this peace between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy will remain extant and not a nine-day wonder.
