Michael Owusu Addo, also known as Sarkodie, a renowned Ghanaian rapper has revealed why he is still relevant even after twelve years of being in the music industry.
Most musicians are unable to stand the test of time like Sarkodie. Some get hits and vanish into thin air after a year or three, at most, five years.
However, the story of Sarkodie has been exceptional! The rapper has managed to keep his head above the waters and stayed relevant since the release of his debut single and his debut album “Maakye” in 2009.
One would ask, what has been Sarkodie’s secret? Well, today, the rapper has shared his only secret which keeps him relevant in the game.
Sharing beautiful photos of himself on Instagram today, Sark touched on two things – Number 1 will give you the spotlight; Number 2 will make you relevant.
In plain words, Sark wrote; “Who you know puts you on but what you know determines how long you stay in the game”
