The argument between both factions – Sarknation & Shatta Movement – might never end. After making peace with Stonebwoy, fans of Shatta Wale have found a new enemy in the music industry – Sarkodie.
Well, guess what, Sarkodie has earned the latest bragging right as numbers on YouTube prove his Lucky video is doing better than Shatta’s ‘Melissa’.
Sarkodie’s ‘Lucky‘ music video has finally bagged a million stream on YouTube and 379K ahead of Shatta Wale’s ‘Melissa’ Music video.
Sark’s ‘Lucky’ features Nigeria’s Rudeboy of now defunct music group, P-Square.
Many believe Sarkodie’s success with Lucky is due to the fact that he featured a Nigerian artiste.
On the other side, Shatta Wale, whose fans have been on Sark’s case lately, has clocked 624,269 views on YouTube.
Both visuals for ‘Lucky’ and ‘Melissa’ were released two weeks ago.
The songs are receiving quite a large endorsements across the world due to how classic the visuals are and of course the calibre of artistes on the song.
