“I will not apologise to anyone; those insulting me are trash” – Sammy Gyamfi replies Ghanaians (video)
The National Communication officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Sammy Gyamfi has refused to apologize for politicizing George Floyd’s death at the expense of gaining political scores on social media.
Sammy Gyamfi was heavily criticized by Ghanaians after he posted a cartoon which mimicked the sad incident that led to George Floyd’s death in his attempt to criticise Ghana’s Electoral Commission over the compilation of a new voters’ register.

Speaking on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Wednesday, Mr Gyamfi said he saw nothing wrong with sharing of a cartoon that depicts an injustice to illustrate another injustice.
Sammy Gyamfi acknowledged those who don’t agree with him and respect their views but has a problem with those who keep on raining insults on him because of his own opinion. He refused to render an apology take down the post as he boldly said it is his opinion and it will forever remain so.
