Remembering Junior Agogo as he passes away

We just broke to you the sad story of the former Black Stars player Junior Agogo passing away after battling stroke since 2015.

It’s a really sad day for Ghana football as one of the finest players ever to grace the country’s football passes away at age 40 and Gossips24.com today tries to remember the great legend by bringing to you some of the best moments he left with us.

His full name is Manuel “Junior” Agogo and was born on August 1,1979. He was a great professional footballer who played as a striker.

He was born in Ghana but it’s believed to have spent most of his childhood in the UK.

It’s believed as to have started his youth career at Sheffield Wednesday in 1995, moving up to the senior squad in 1997.

Agogo played for Ghana’s national team between 2006 and 2009 but it appears the year 2008 was his greatest moment as he really shone in CAN 2008 which Ghana hosted making him win the hearts of many Ghanaians especially the ladies.

Aside from having his name one popular biscuit in the country, it appears his goal against Nigeria can’t be forgotten easily as well.
