The recent rate at which referees keep been attacked by some supporters and fans of football teams has led to many finding ways to protect themselves whenever they officiate a match.
In a video at the disposal of Gossips24, a referee from Honduras was spotted removing a gun after a fight happened during a match that he was officiating .
the incident which happened in an amateur match in the western Honduran town of La Jigua saw the referee using the gun to protect himself from anyone who would dare try to lay his hands on him.
According to reports a family member of the referee was said to have handed him the gun to protect himself when the fight began in the stadium.
