Power has gotten into people’s heads and they think Elections 2020 is a ‘cool chop’ – Afia Pokuaa shades NPP

Popular Ghanaian media personality Afia Pokuaa has aired her views on what is likely to happen in Ghana as far as the results of the December presidential elections.

Afia Pokuaa also known as Vim Lady has opined that the incumbent government is not taking serious their primaries which is going to adversely affect them eventually during the elections.

She revealed that the General Secretary of New Patriotic Party, (NPP), John Boadu, has shown a lack of urgency to resolves issues within their internal politics.

“Power has gotten into people’s heads and they think that it’s just a walkover for the NPP. So, they think that let’s do Primaries in April and do this and do that and we can win. The same thing happened to the NDC around 2000 and 2004.”

Vim Lady predicts high voter apathy indicating that the regions that voted massively for the NPP in 2016 will reduce. “So, it is high time the party reminded itself of the fact that elections are in December.” she added.
