The Asuoden Music boss, Pope Skinny has revealed Shatta does not make money from Ghana music, but rather from close benefactors such as the then Mahama led NDC government.

Skinny revealed Shatta Wale does not charge huge amounts for shows as he purports in his interviews – Gossips24.com‘s personal findings from sources closer to the dancehall musician and Pope Skinny’s statement makes us believe Shatta charges less than Ghc50,000 for a show.

Pope Skinny revealed Shatta mounted a Joy Daddy stage to perform for as little as Ghc20,000.

Meanwhile, Shatta in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere of Metro Tv on October 10, 2019, revealed he charges over Ghc100,000 for a single appearance making him the highest-paid artiste in Ghana.

But the recent revelations from Pope Skinny which comes parallel to the findings of Gossips24.com states otherwise. This could only mean one thing that the musician, a braggart for that matter, is not the highest-paid artiste in Ghana.
