33-year-old suspect, Hassan Ebere has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Borno Command while processing dead poultry meat he picked from a river in Maiduguri.
The suspect revealed that he has sold 6,000 dead poultry to residents of Maiduguri for five years so as to raise money for his livelihood since he has lost the father and he’s also unemployed
At the moment, he has been sent to remind pending court proceedings which has been scheduled to come off in February.
