A phone thief was burnt to death by an angry mob at the Egbeada international market in Imo state during the weekend(s).
According to reports, the phone thief attempted to snatch the phone of a female passerby.
After she caught him redhanded and resisted the robbery, the thief stabbed her in the process. Eyewitnesses caught up with him, beat him up, and then set him on fire.
His charred body is still lying on the roadside where the incident happened.
