‘People Leave Their Labels And Go Down’ – Kidi talks about MzVee’s exit

Lynx Entertainment signee Dennis Nana Dwamena, aka Kidi has refuted claims that the Label had to get rid of MzVee to make room for himself and Kuami Eugene.

On Wednesday, 12 September 2019, MzVee and Lynx Entertainment terminated their contracts. MzVee took to her social media pages to share a press release to make her intentions official.

Prior to her exit, many accused Kuami Eugene and Kidi’s dominance to be the reason for MzVee’s silence on the label.

Well, Kidi has spoken after MzVee’s exit was made official. Initially, the Odo hit singer revealed MzVee was just on a break, but has made a u-turn all of a sudden, claiming not to know what transpired in-house.

According to the “Odo” hitmaker, MzVee is like a big sister to him and that there are still friends despite the fact that they are no longer label mates.

Kidi also stated that he is saddened about MzVee’s departure from Lynx Entertainment and wish something could be done about it.

“We are friends and we talk like we usually do. MzVee has always and will always be a sister to me.

I don’t know the details of her exit but it is actually sad to hear that she is not there with us anymore. It’s really sad.

Every artiste had their personal discussions with the team, I don’t know what the management discussed with her. It’s actually sad for me right now.

Lots of people have left their labels and have gone down but she is an amazing artist, hands down, and I am waiting to see her grow to the much bigger stages than before”, Kidi noted.
