Pastor Who Sleeps With Women For Spiritual Cleansing Remanded

A 29-year-old pastor is currently in police grip after allegedly having an amorous affair with three members of his church all in the name of spiritual cleansing.

The accused, Daniel Abisah, is a pastor of the Adom Power Ministry.

According to the police, he allegedly lured three women into his bed when he held a crusade at Akrodie in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region on July 22.

The Daily Graphic reports that Abisah was brought before the Goaso Circuit Court to answer for his alleged crimes.

According to the Asunafo South District Commander of Police, DSP Maxwell Adomire, the pastor was arrested when one of the victims reported the matter to the police.

The pastor is said to have invited the first victim to his house after service with the excuse that he had a prophecy for her.

The accused is alleged to have then told his first victim that a waist bead which her grandmother gave her had cast a spell on her and, therefore, would not enable her to progress in life and also get a good husband.

The pastor then ordered the girl to lie down on a bed and proceeded to have sex with her.

The second victim was also invited by the pastor to his residence after he complained about not being able to bear children after four years in a relationship.

DSP Adomire said the pastor slept with her after convincing the victim that it was the person who bathed her when she was a baby that blocked her womb.

The third victim, DSP Adomire said, is also a 19-year-old student, who the pastor said he saw in a vision that her uncle was having sex with her and her aunt.

He subsequently slept with her after assuring her that he would do something to ensure the vision didn’t come to pass.

The second victim was the first to report to the police after she consulted another pastor and was told there was no biblical basis for what had happened.

The two other victims also followed suit to report the pastor after hearing that their co-victim had reported the matter to the police.

Meanwhile, the accused has been remanded in police custody and will re-appear in court on August 13.
