Ghanaian movie actor and Kumawood star, professionally known as Papa Kumasi has slammed Shatta Wale for associating himself with the Kumerica craze and trying to steal the shine of the originators in the process.
According to angry Papa Kumasi, Shatta Wale is an attention whore and an opportunist who rides on trending issues to dominate the headlines on various blogs.
In an interview with Zionfelix, fearless Papa Kumasi issued out a stern warning to Shatta Wale to stick with his popular “paah paah paah” and leave Kumerica for the Kumericans.
Papa Kumasi further indicated that the “Kumerica Movement” belongs to people of Kumasi so a person residing in Accra cannot release a song and name it as the anthem for the movement.
These rants from Papa Kumasi comes after Shatta Wale released a single titled “Kumerica” with the notion of joining the movement and swearing his allegiance to the group.
The musicians outside Kumasi should stick to ‘paaaah,’ ‘Paah Paaah Paaah’ and ‘Bhiiim’ so that the boys in Kumasi can also project themselves with ‘Kumerica”
In the other news, Minister of communications, Ursula Owusu has joined the Kumerica Movement by acquiring her Kumerica Passport which she shared on her Facebook page on the 29th of last month.
