The United Nation announced that their assets in Calabar ,Cross River State has been looted and destroyed by some hoodlums.
The UN resident and humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria Edward Kallon revealed in a tweet along with pictures of some hoodlums vandalizing UN properties such as vehicles and invading the premises which is located at Calabar.
Kallon who spoke on the attack, added that these people were out to discredit the peaceful protests to end police brutality.
He tweeted;
“The United Nations in Nigeria strongly condemns attacks on its assets in Calabar by vandals who were out to discredit the peaceful protests to end police brutality. I call on youths to exercise restraints and engage in dialogue with the Government on their legitimate demands.”
