The suspected murderer of the student of O’Rielly senior high school student Edward has been remanded back into prison by the La District Court.
The young boy who was a colleague of the deceased was reported to have stabbed his mate multiple times after an argument ensued between the two of them.
According to reports, the young suspect whose name has been withheld was said to have pleaded with the court to grant him bail but was denied by the judge presiding over the case.
The judge has however called for the young man to be remanded into police custody and be brought again to court on September 19.
In other news, the Ghana education service has called for calm as they have promised to follow the case to the latter and bring the perpetrator to face the full wrath of the law.
In a statement last week, the service called for calm and asked that the general public avoid speculation on the matter.
