A vehicle carrying bullets has gotten involved in an accident at Okponglo, Legon. Unfortunately, the vehicle hit a hawker on the highway. The hawker, 40 years was rushed to the 37 military hospital were Doctors proclaimed him dead.
It is suspected that, the occupants of the vehicle are robbers.
Bystanders reported that the driver of the vehicle was trying to disobey the traffic when the vehicle veered of the road and knock down the Newspaper seller.
Currently, the police have taken into custody the occupants of the vehicle for an investigation. Other reports also indicates that the occupants of the vehicle are on the wanted list of the police. It is unclear what offence they committed but we will update you on this once obtain more information.
