Ghanaian disappointed politician and business tycoon, Mr. Akwasi Addai Odike, has accused the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) for kicking him out of this year’s presidential contest because of his constructive criticisms about Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP government.
During an interview with MyNewsGh, Odike attributed his disqualification from the presidential race as an inside job aimed at sabotaging his political career.
In his won words;
“Because I am always not giving Akufo-Addo government breathing space in terms of his bad policies for Ghanaians such as towing levy, salvaged cars importation bill among others, they see me as a threat and have orchestrated that, ”
“The EC led by Jane Mensah and NPP’s campaign manager, Peter Mac Manu from day one planned to ensure that I will not be given the chance to contest”,
Odike, alongside five other candidates, were disqualified for failing to meet the standards and requirement of the EC.
