Loud musician turned political activist and social media commentator, Kwame Asare Obeng, known widely as Kwame A-Plus has alleged the NPP is the brainier behind the collapse of Menzgold.
A-Plus who used to be a member of the NPP and a huge campaigner for Nana Addo in the 2016 elections fell out of the Patriotic Party’s circle after he was disappointed by leaders of the party.
In a Facebook post, he revealed how NPP used Menzgold and the defunct UniBank to finance its activities, contributing to the collapse of the two firms.
He also described the NPP party as the biggest scam of Ghana’s politics.
