Yul Edochie, son of veteran Nigerian actor Peter Edochie, has called for the resignation of President Buhari after his administration from time and time again failed the Nigerian citizenry.
His remark comes off the back of Buhari’s silence with regards to the recent nationwide rage by Nigerian youth concerning police brutality and injustice in Nigeria, #EndSARS protests.
Yul Edochie’s call for Buhari to resign was made on Twitter off his official page as he compared the Buhari-led administration to that of Goodluck Jonathan’s indicating “Buhari’s performance is worse than that of Jonathan.”
“President Buhari was very vocal during the previous Govt. He called for Goodluck’s resignation on the basis of poor performance.
“Today, Buhari’s performance is worse than that of Jonathan. We put our hopes in him & he failed us. I call for Buhari’s resignation. #ENDBADGOVERNANCE,” he tweeted.
