No one should take advantage of our son’s funeral for personal gains-Family of the late Kofi B warns

The family of late highlife musician Kofi Boakye Yiadom known by his stage name Kofi B, has warned the public to desist from taking advantage of their son’s funeral for their parochial interest.

An Uncle of the late musician, Mr. Kwame Addo, who spoke on behalf of the family, pointed out that, they would not take it kindly with anyone who goes contrary to their warning.

He indicated that, the family has not contracted anyone to produce and sell T-shirts or anything branded with images of their son, hence giving a stern warning to any individual who intends to do so.

Mr. Addo further stressed that, anyone who refuses to heed to their warning will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

He made these comments in an interview, as he announced that the burial and final rites of the late musician will will be held at Asante Akyem Agogo on November 7, 2020, with the thanksgiving service following on Sunday, November 8 at the Presby Park in his hometown, Asante Akyem Agogo.

It can be recalled that, the late Kofi B, died on February 2, 2020 after a short illness. He was well noted for songs such as “Mmbrowa”, “Bantama Kofi Boakye” and “Koforidua Flowers”, among others.
