The Taraba State chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Mr Peter Jediel has been kidnapped once again by bandits.
The politician and businessman was kidnapped around about 3.30 a.m. on Sunday, July 4 at his residence in Sunkani, the administrative headquarters of Ardo-Kola local government council on the outskirt of Jalingo, the state capital.
Commentary surrounding kidnap has it that the abduction took place in the presence of his family members.
This is the second time the 54-year-old NLC Chairman would be kidnapped this year after February’s incident which he was released two days later after an undisclosed amount was paid as ransom.
