Nigerian singer calls for prayer for her son with special needs

Its never the wish of a mother to see her child go through pain especially when it happens at a very young age.

Joy Odiete is a Nigerian singer and cartoonist known popularly as J’odie gave birth to her son Chinua with special needs of no fault of hers.

Chinua has had to go through physiotherapy sessions, the pains during these sessions his mother says she cannot stand. Chinua screams very hard each time.

J’odie even though still pursuing the orthodox treatment for her child, she is seeking God’s hand on her son.

She called on all to say a prayer for her son Chinua.

She wrote on Instagram,

“Thank you, @eudokas_ for bringing this Indonesian therapist to Nigeria… It’s the first time Chinua is not screaming the building down during a physio session.

She added ,

Physio sessions have been one of the toughest times of my life – watching my son cry almost everyday… Leaving me wondering all the time “Is this the best decision for him?”

But I reassure myself that stopping physio isn’t for his good. So, I keep going, any how.

Still praying. Children of God, please join me to pray. The Balm of Gilead is the best option – may He visit this issue soonest!”
