Niger State Commissioner kidnapped by bandits

Mohammed Sani Idris, the Niger State Commissioner for Information, has been kidnapped by bandits.

The Commissioner was kidnapped by bandits in the early hours of Monday, August 9, from his residence in Baban Tunga village in Tafa local government, according to Mary Noel-Berje, the State Governor’s Chief Press Secretary.

Whiles speaking to the media about this unfortunate incident, the CPS said;

“Security agencies are however, already trailing the bandits with a view to apprehending them”.
