Brazilian football star Neymar has re-affirmed his plans of returning to Spanish side Barcelona.
Reports has it that Neymar rejected a juicy deal from his current football club Paris Saint German PSG to retain him in France.
The contract extension according to sources will last until 2025.
This development has sparked controversies in France about Neymar’s exit from PSG to join his former club Barcelona.
Neymar’s future was the subject of heavy media attention in the summer as the Brazil star pushed for a return to Barcelona. However Barcelona and PSG were unable to reach a deal for the 27-year-old as the Parisian club were unwilling to come down on their 220-million-euro price tag.
An outlet in France, Foot-Mercato, reported that PSG offered the Brazillian star an improved benefits in their contract extension terms should he opt to stay with the club until 2025.
