National Media Commission to ban mallams and juju men from advertising on TV

The National Media Commission in Ghana is set to go after mallams and juju men who have made it a habit to use TV stations as avenues for advertising their malicious acts.

Here in Ghana, the media space over the years has been flooded with spiritualists who sell superstition to gullible people for money.

Some – Nana Agradaa and her peers – even promise quick money with enticing adverts to convince people to come to them for money rituals.

Gone are the days when matters of spiritualism was a secret. Now it’s all over both social and traditional media.

Many are those who have called for the National Media Commission to regulate activities of these spiritualists on television.

Finally, information reaching us indicates that the National Media Commission is about banning activities of spiritualists on Tv.
