Nana Fredua Calls on Chiefs To Join in Second Wave COVID-19 Fight

According to a Ghanaian adage, when you see your neighbour’s beard on fire, you fetch water and keep it by yours.

This is a call that Nana Fredua Agyeman Ofori-Atta, Board Chairman of the National Theatre, is making as COVID-19 numbers in foreign countries are going higher and higher by the day.

Even though Ghana’s cases are very low, it is feared that the numbers could go high again like in other countries such as France and Germany who are currently going into lockdown again due to high number of cases.

Nana Fredua is making calls on chiefs to make sure their constituents adhere to the COVID-19 safety protocols like washing of hands, wearing masks and using hand sanitizers.

On Peace FM’s”Kokrokoo’ He said; ‘.”We plead with all our Chiefs to sensitize people about it. It will help the nation a lot when they involve themselves. We know they have so much authority,”
