BREAKING NEWS: Nana Addo lifts ban on Churches and Mosques

The president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has lifted the bans on Churches and Mosques effective Friday, June 5, 2020.

The president made the exciting announcement during his tenth address to the nation on Sunday, May 31, 2020.

According to the president of Ghana, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo, Churches, Mosques and all religious bodies can start their official meetings on the worship days, i.e, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday effective June 5, 2020.

However, religious bodies and churches should make sure that only 25% of the entire congregation will be in attendance with a maximum number of 100 people worshipping at the church or mosque. He added that a service should not exceed an hour and for that matter can be held in batches.

He further stated that Churches and Mosques should ensure that the 1-meter social distancing rule is observed as well as the other preventive measures.
