Former president and current flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama has slammed Nana Addo for being an incompetent leader who has hid behind his free SHS policy to deceive Ghanaians to vote for him to retain power in this year’s elections.
Their [government’s] only claim to fame”, Mr. Mahama said, “is Free SHS and, so, Free SHS is being funded from the oil revenues but aside from that there’s nothing to show for it and the signs were there that this economy was being mismanaged.”
The IMF has been a bit hypocritical in all this because the signals have been there. It’s not today that we raised the issue of the Finance Minister cooking the books. He’s been cooking the books over the last four years…
The NDC lead-member who is optimistic of snatching power form Nana Addo made these assertions during an interview with Woezor TV.
John Mahama blamed the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, for lying about the figures he presents to Ghanaiasn during budget reading and the IMF.
