Nana Aba Anamoah wins at Ghana Women of the Year Honours; gives emotional speech about her son (videos)
– The GH One Broadcaster gave an emotional speech about her son, Paa Kow
Nana Aba received the honour at an event held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on Friday, April 13, 2019. Taking her award, the popular broadcaster was particularly grateful to former Electoral Commission chairperson Charlotte Osei for her encouragement and support.
Nana Aba who appeared on stage with some of her friends expressed her gratitude to all of the friends.
Another interesting part of her speech which caught attention her dedication of the award which went to her son, Jyoti Paa Kow Anamoah.
According to Nana Aba, Paa Kow had called to plead with her not to dedicate any of her awards to him anymore because he did not want his friends to be calling him about his mother’s awards. Apart from that, Paa Kow does not want to be in the limelight.
His plea notwithstanding, Nana went ahead to dedicate the award to Paa Kow but pleaded with his friends not to bother him.
The GH One broadcaster was one of nine outstanding women who received awards for their works in various fields.
