My Son Was Relocating To Where I Was Sitting Not To Cause Trouble – Shatta Wale’s Father

The father of Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has finally broken silence over the Shatta Wale – Stonebwoy saga.

Charles Mensah, father of Shatta Wale in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that Gossips24.com monitored rubbished reports that suggest Shatta Wale was going to cause confusion when he joined Stonebwoy on stage.

According to him, his son had no intentions of causing trouble or whatsoever but was rather relocating to where he (father) was sitting.

“He wasn’t walking out to the stage’, he used the award that was given to Stonebwoy to relocate to my area where I sat” Wale’s father said.

He further noted that, it wasn’t his son’s plan to even climb the stage but rather it was one of Shatta Wale’s crew who suggested he use the opportunity to congratulate his rival Stonebwoy.

Wale’s father however indicated that Shatta climbed the stage to congratulate Stonebwoy during the 2015 VGMA so it wasn’t something new.

Mr. Mensah also revealed that, he asked to be given the chance to apologize but he wasn’t given the opportunity to also apologize to the good people of Ghana and patrons at the event.
