Minister for Finance Ken Ofori Atta has come out to speak about his health for the first time during an interview which he granted Metro Tv’s Paul Adom-Otchere.
The minister who was speaking on the ‘Good Evening Ghana’ show revealed that he has had his liver been inflamed after he contracted Coronavirus.
According to him he contracted the deadly COVID19 in November and was hospitalized until 10th of December when he was allowed to go back to his house.
Recounting the experience he revealed that after getting home he started to feel jaundiced and quite unwell which led to him again going to the hospital where his case was been properly looked at by the doctors.
Mr. Ken Ofori Atta further went ahead to state that he went back for review in August and the inflammation is pretty much gone and so, they are now titrating to see how to bring the steroids down so that one can get back to a normal life.
He further revealed that he has changed due to all the suffering he went through and would soon be getting back in shape as he has been directed to rest more and take his editing very seriously.
