Speaking on Accra-based Hot FM, a loudmouthed politician who is an active member of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, better known as Abronye, has disclosed bitterly how his life has become worse under the Akufo Addo government.
The Bono Region Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the interview revealed that even though he openly came out to support this government and made enemies for himself, the president and his people have not put anything better up to make his life more lively.
However, this has given Abronye a second thought as he reveals that he will not support anyone who will run in the presdential race for the NPP because he does want to be disappointed as Akufo Addo has disappointed him.
He said:
People who did not believe in the vision of the President have been given positions of influence and have had their lives changed while I continue to wallow in poverty.
What’s even more worrying is the fact that in his bid to defend Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to become President, he courted enemies for himself, and these enemies are the ones calling the shots in the President’s government, hence his inability to get help.
“Nana Addo cannot tell me who to support. I won’t even listen to him.
People who used to insult him and say he could not be President are better people than I have been since he came to power, “
Some of these people are now Chief Executives, Deputy Ministers, and Ministers and they are not supporting me because of some exchange of words I had with them because of Nana Addo. Whoever comes and tells me Nana Addo says we should vote for this or that I will spit in your face, “
