Nigerian artiste, Victor AD, whose song ‘Wetin We Gain’ became a street anthem in Ghana, has disclosed his countrymen for a longtime thought he was Ghanaian.
Victor AD has revealed how the Nigerian media referred to him as a Ghanaian act and categorized his music under Ghanaian music.
The ‘Wetin We Gain’ hitmaker believes the situation is so because his song became prominent in Ghana before reaching his own country.
He made this revelation in an interview with Dr Pounds on Adom FM’s ‘Kasahare Level’.
“My song blow for Ghana first before Nigeria…Nigerians even asked if I was Ghanaian or I stayed in Ghana before, others were like, I know Victor, that Ghana boy. Different charts on TV station and Ghana charts in Nigeria always included my song,” gossips24.com captured.
